HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use


These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute a binding legal agreement between the Customer ('you', 'your') and Dress-2-Impress.com whose office is at 13 Prince Andrew Way, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8NQ ("Dress-2-Impress," "we," "us," and "our"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law.

The terms apply to the hire of Mens Top Hats and Ladies Hats / Headpieces / Fascinators for the Royal Ascot Races between 20th-24th June 2017 ('the Service').


By using the Service you accept these Terms of and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use you should not use the Service.


1. The hired hat, headpiece or fascinator will remain the property of www.dress-2-impress.com at all times.


2. Our Hats, Headpieces and Fascinators are available for hire to customers visiting the Royal Ascot Races only, and for use during their attendance of the Race Meeting on date of Hire between 20th-24th June 2017.


3. The hire charge is stated on each Hat, Headpiece or Fascinators item page along with details of the deposit amount that will be refunded on the return of the Hat, Headpiece or Fascinator to us at the Royal Ascot Tennis Club Clubhouse, Ascot Wood, Station Hill, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7HF before 9.30pm on your day of Hire.


4. Bookings must be made in advance of the Royal Ascot Races 2017 (which will be held at Ascot Racecourse 20th-24th June 2017). The hat or fascinator Hire amount must be received 3 days before the date hat, headpiece or fascinator is required. No hat, headpiece or Fascinator is reserved until the hire has been paid.


5. Once your hire payment has been received, a receipt will be issued in the post to you within 3 working days. Customers booking late will receive receipt letter by email. You must bring this receipt with you when you collect your hat, headpiece or fascinator, and when returning your hat, headpiece or fascinator for the refund deposit. Full instructions on how to get to the Royal Ascot Tennis Club Clubhouse will also be sent with your receipt.


6. Your hire hat, headpiece or fascinator will be available for collection from the Royal Ascot Tennis Club Clubhouse, Ascot Wood, Station Hill, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7HF between 9.30am and 13.30pm on the day of the Royal Ascot Race meeting that you have booked.


7. On collecting your hat, headpiece or fascinator from the Royal Ascot Tennis Club, you will be required to pay for the DEPOSIT PRICE of the Hat. This cost is refunded once hat, headpiece or fascinator is returned at the end of the day, in the condition you received minus the normal and reasonable signs of wear for single use.


8. If you do not collect your hat, headpiece or fascinator from the Royal Ascot Tennis Club between 9.30am-13.30pm on the day you have requested, then your Hire price will not be refunded.


9. If you fail to return your hat, headpiece or fascinator before 9.30pm to the Royal Ascot Tennis Club on your date of hire, then you will be invoiced a further days hire, for each day you have kept the hat or fascinator, until the item is returned by post to 13 Prince Andrew Way, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8NQ.


10. Your original invoice will be for: Hire cost only. On your hire date you will be charged: Refundable Deposit. On returning the hat or fascinator between 5.30pm-9.30pm on your date of hire, you will be refunded the deposit on return of the hired hat or fascinator in the condition you received minus the normal and reasonable signs of wear for single use. We reserve the right to retain all or some of the security deposit if the hat, headpiece or fascinator is returned marked in any way; this includes make up, alcohol, and rain damage.


11. Customers who return items damaged beyond economical repair will not have their deposit refunded. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that the product returned is capable of repair or restoration to its original condition, we may charge you a lesser amount than the full deposit to cover the cost of such repair.


12. Hire price payable on booking is made by PayPal. Paypal process payments securely online, and DO NOT share your personal banking information with us, or anyone else.


13. When you have booked your hat, headpiece or fascinator hire, and have received confirmation of the reservation, then this hat, headpiece or fascinator is reserved for you and will not be booked for anyone else on the same date. However, should the hat, headpiece or fascinator not have been returned by a customer that hired the hat, headpiece or fascinator a previous race day during the Royal Ascot Race Meeting, then an alternative hat, headpiece or fascinator, suitable for your outfit, will be offered to you for half price. You may take the offer of the alternative or a full refund if you prefer.


14. By using the Service, you consent to receiving email communications from us. These communications will include notices about your hat, headpiece or fascinator (e.g., collection and drop of details and other transactional information) and information concerning or related to the Hire. You agree that any notice, agreements, disclosure or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements.


15. We will NEVER sell or share your information with ANY third parties.


16. On booking you can opt in to receive our infrequent newsletters from www.dress-2-impress.com. If you ever wish to opt out, you may do so by responding to our newsletters with "Remove" in the subject line.


17. CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the booked date will receive Full Refund. Cancellations made 29-14 days in advance of Hired Date will receive a 50% Refund. Cancellations made 13-7 days in advance will receive 30% refund. No refund will be given to cancellations made 6-0 days in advance of the date booked. No refunds are given to those that do not collect booked hats on the day and have not given notice.


18. In the rare event that the Royal Ascot Races should be cancelled by the Racecourse for any reason, we will offer a 60% refund to all customers that have already made bookings. Refunds will be processed within 45 days of the event being cancelled.
