This is a red silk headpiece from leading UK Milliner Rachel Trevor. Established in 1990, Rachel has designed hats for many members of the Royal family, and in 2014 Rachel was granted The Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen. HM The Queen has worn Rachels hats on many high profile occasions: Royal Ascot, Her 80th birthday at St Pauls, Her Diamond Wedding celebration, meeting George Bush in Washington, to name a few.
This headpiece is a large Smartie base, covered in Cherry Red Silk Taffeta, gathered off centre and decorated in flowers made of Black and White Lady Amherst feathers and bunch of black diamond cut coque feathers, wrapped with red silk touched with red Swarovski Crystals.
