Polish born Milliner Gabriela Ligenza arrived in London 20 years ago, much to the delight of the style cognoscenti. International fashion icons, including Princess Diana, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Mrs Abramovich and Elle Macpherson have turned heads in hats and head-pieces by Gabriela Ligenza.

Gabriela lives and works in Florence where her hats are hand-produced using entirely traditional techniques at her atelier that is housed in a 15th century Medici tower. Stretched, hand pressed over wooden blocks and oven dried, they take days to make but have a lightness as if created out of sea foam. Gabriela has also designed for fashion houses including Missoni, John Galliano, and Paul Smith.

Gabriela's Hats are sold worldwide to leading department stores including Harvey Nichols, Harrods, and Saks 5th Avenue, as well as through her London Flagship store.

This is a Striking and unusual side sitting Hat by by Gabriela made with Black and White Straw woven with Silver Strips and dressed with a single Silver Ostrich Spine.

Very easy to wear and attaches by a thin black band that wraps around the back of your hair to secure.

Measures 11.5" Diameter, with the quill reaching out around 4" further.
